Tim Keogh

Tim qualified in December 2006. He is currently managing a team that provides financial management, support, advice and guidance to a range of education services.

The role involves setting, monitoring and advising on both Revenue and Capital Budgets as well as overseeing the completion of various statutory returns, such as the Section 52 return. In addition to LB Havering funded activities the role requires him to monitor the Dedicated Schools Grant and Standards Funded activities. Ultimately this means overseeing a budget in excess of £150 million.

Harry Lawson

Harry's job is to act as the Council's lead adviser on managing the Council's property portfolio, capital assets and programme to enable the Council to make best use of resources and extract full value from its assets and ensure that capital funding opportunities are maximised.

Caroline Moore

Caroline is a financial analyst and her role involves working on the efficiency agenda in terms of monitoring, producing the Annual Efficiency Statement and transformation projects.

Caroline is also responsible for financial planning with regards to external funding including being the finance lead on Local Area Agreements. As an analyst she has a key role to play in setting the budget, working on closing consolidated accounts, performance and finance reporting, and developing training programmes and guidance.

Tom Burton

Tom is responsible for budget monitoring and budget development for all of the Children's Social Services function including long term financial planning. He is also responsible liaising with external parties such as the auditors and Government bodies helping to contribute to the delivery of a high profile local service.

Rakhee Handa

Upon qualification Rakhee secured a job as a senior auditor. Her role involves planning and undertaking a wide range of audit duties. This includes the examination and review of internal controls for any particular area. She is also required conduct fraud investigations where required and produce soundly constructed reports and recommendations.

Ben Durrant

Ben is currently in audit and has experience in carrying out an internal audit from start to finish. Responsibilities have included planning of an assigned audit, assessing and evaluating key risks and controls and drafting recommendations to improve control weaknesses. Evaluating the strategic, operational and financial risks within specific business area.

Ben has also written audit reports detailing his recommendations including discussion with management to agree and implement recommendations.

Naresh Chenani

Risk Coordination Manager

After qualifying in July 2007, Naresh was appointed as the Risk Coordination Manager for Ealing.

His role involves coordinating and enhancing risk management throughout the council in line with best practice. This includes developing the risk management framework implemented by managers at every level of the organisation. Naresh has to make sure that the key risks are managed to ensure the successful delivery of the corporate objectives.
